Good Morning All, Went to fire up my Honda 8 yesterday and discovered fuel dripping from the inlet connection of the fuel line. Does anuone have a P/N of the "O" ring inside that fuel connector or the connector itself. This is a standard Honda setup, 3 gallon tank, 1995 Honda 8 h.p. engine. "THANX" once again
I do not know the part number but make sure it really seems to be the O-Ring and not a mini-crack in the plastic fitting close to the port opening. I also have the Honda setup from when I bought my outboard in Feb06. I had a leak in the gas line hose fitting that connects to the outboard. I brought it back to the marina where I purchased my outboard (close to my marina) and showed them the fitting I wanted replaced. Though I had not spotted it initially, their mechanic took an interest and closely inspected the fitting (at the opening port area that goes against the outboard connection) and there was a small crack barely visible. I forget what the replacement fitting cost but that took care of my dripping.
