Stampeder, this issue is/should be especially significant for you. It's about Irena Sendler who passed away yesterday. She was a fellow Pole who stood up to the Nazi in the Warsaw Ghetto. She saved the lives of 2500 infants and children scheduled for the gas chambers. She wrote the names of all 2500 kids on scraps of paper and put them in a glass jar and burried the jar in her garden. Her under cover name was JOLANTA. What damn bravery to go nose to nose with the nastinest bastards to ever have existed and in doing so wrote a new page in the annals of selflessness. I you like I'll send to you her obituary as it appeared in Newsday yesterday.
