Any advice on the type of cable/connection to use to connect to a slips cable tv connector.

Is there a standard connector type?

TIA.

Radio Shack sells weather proof cable in various lengths... It's black not white, but cheaper than WM.

Might 'Want' it, but not 'need' it at nearly a boat unit!

already have a 50' coax cable with std ends, but have never taken a peak inside the slip pylons other than to connect the 110v.

Paul.

You should be able to plug right in. The Slip should have the standard female connector same as you have in your house. The only difference is its should be in a waterproof box.
