Well, I finally did it! Launched at 12:30 today And worked to rig with a friend and assoc member until after 4:00, But we did it!!! Fellow Ship is floating in her new home waters of Eagle Mountain Lake, Fort Worth Texas. WOW that was a job! Probably more than it should have been, but it was the first time either of us had rigged a C25. Thanks for all your help Lonnie, I sure couldn't have done it alone! Now lets go sailing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is a great boat you've got there. I'm in your neighborhood over on Lake Ray Hubbard. We sure are seeing some nice weather these days. Just wish we got get a little more wind. Get out there and enjoy Fellow Ship!
Dave, I've got dock space. The marine I'm in is Eagle Mountain Marina, it's the one by the spillway with the dark blue roofs. The large marina across the lake with the big parking lot is the Fort Worth Boat Club, it is said that it is the oldest continuous inland yacht club in the United States. They are very active and do a lot of racing. I'm more of a cruise and a coldie kind of sailor. Almost every marina has a restaurant and lounge with live music on weekends, so it's a fun place to be. This is our 4th boat on this lake but the first time in this marina.
