Well I pulled my boat again and I was thinking how much its like Christmas. The Spring...raising the mast for launch is like putting up the tree. Excited about whats ahead, and a holiday that lasts (at least every weekend) for the entire summer. Then dropping the mast and pulling in the fall. Its just like that blah feeling you get taking your Christmas tree down. Unlike Christmas at least I don't have to wait an entire year to "put the tree up" again!
Hoping to get to Tortola this winter...

John,
We have been using Conch Charters...also in Road Town...getting 50' Beneteaus. Conch Charters boats are a bit older than Moorings...but everything always works perfectly and the savings are dramatic. Gotta start at Willie T's...make sure you hit the Baths, and if you can pull it off...get to Anegada. When you arrive, put your order in immediately for a BBQ lobster for that evening..its unbelievable! My favorite place to have a Pain Killer or Pina Colada is the Soggy Dollar on Jost. If you are there for the full moon..hit the party at Bombas Shack! Yeehaaaa!

This is our third trip. Been to all those. Anegada and the Indians are my favorite places on earth. Don't drink the mushroom tea at the Bomba Shack! It's nasty stuff. I'll check into Conch Charters. Last time I checked, Moorings was cheaper after the discounts for 6 months before and repeat charterer.
