I have an 83' Standard rig, my head sail got beat up in the winds from the hurricane last year. Looking for a furling head sail in good condition. Season is almost here and I want to have the sail before it goes in the water.

thanks,
Jon

On ebay , working jib for an Oday 25, will likely work on a C-25 also. Oonly about 35 minutes left on the auction.

Thanks David but I didn't see it till this morning.

Has anyone used this company for sails? I'm not looking to race with them, just need something to use the boat.

I've got a 155 hank on in fair condition I'd let go for $200 + shipping.

Oh its a full deck sweeper and would need to be recut for a roller and have a wire luff installed. Make an offer. Return it for a full refund if you don't like it (you pay shipping both ways).

I haven't ever heard anything bad about FX Sails (thesailstore). Check the archived posts. I recall that FX came up in some general inquiries about sailmakers for Catalina boats. Also check out National Sail Supply if you are on a budget.

Jon, what furler do you use?

I bought a 135% from National Sail that I'm very happy with. It's a Rolly Tasker sail

No, I don't recall but I know I didn't give it much thought so, it must've been reasonable.

My 135 hank-on genoa from National Sail Supply was about $645 after shipping (to Tennessee). I ordered a full hoist cut and 5 oz. material. This was just over a year ago.
