It appears to be an O'day 25 trailer. That boat has a draft of 4'6", which is 6" more than the draft of a C25 SK, so that part should work without too much effort. Roller placement would be the other big consideration, aside from the condition of the trailer itself.
You need to find out what is required to register that trailer in South Carolina. He says "I do not have a registration for the trailer" sends up a huge red flag. Does he actually own it? I just got into a huge argument over this exact topic on wooden boat. If he doesn't have the registration, he doesn't own it, period. A bill of sale means nothing. In Michigan, you cannot register it as a home built trailer unless you can prove you bought the steel, axles and tires and submit reciets for same. DO yourself a huge favor and check with South Carolina DMV and find out what you need to register it.
I don't believe the rollers are mounted near high enough for a swing or wing. And, in Florida, there is no title for a trailer of this size, just the registration. It is sold on a bill of sale and without registration it is registered as a home made trailer.

You can bring it to Kansas, we do not use titles for boats or their trailers, just Bills of Sale and those do not need to be Notarized. When I sold my boat into Texas all I had to do was provide evidence that I had been paying personal property tax on it.
SC has no titles or tags for trailers. I already have a trailer which I just finished renovating. Just thought there might be someone out there looking for one. If it's not severely rusted it could probably be made to work even if it took some welding. Mine looked almost as bad,but with sandblasting, paint and replacing about 100 bolts, (also repairing elec brakes and rewiring) it's back in good usable condition. Lot's of work. Here's how it looked

So you don't need registration numbers on the side of the boat?
