As I look out my window and see the snow falling on my Tulips and Crocuses, I decided I needed a laugh. Thought I'd share.

Did I mention I took the cover off the boat last week!

WE're supposed to have snow and ice tonight here as well, but warming back up to the 70's later this week. Weird!

I put the boat in this afternoon. Our lake is down about 4 feet from normal, it was drained in anticipation of flood control for the up coming rain. Ha ha. I tied up to a floating dock and will move it to our slip when the water level goes back up, kind of shallow there now.

The snow is bad enough, the 2-3 ft thick ice on the lake here is just plain depressing.

I guess the ski resort towns in CO are enjoying the extended season. I've got a cousin in Steamboat Springs.

After that, you have to climb up, which at 7-10,000 feet is not for me! (I have a daughter there who does races up the mountain.)

John, I have a great pic that perfectly fits the definition of "bare boat" but I am afraid if I posted it, I might get expelled.
And I am sure it would definitely get more than your spirits up.

We had 35 degrees here this morningand made it up to around 50 this afternoon. glad the "Y" has an indoor pool. Got in my mile swim this morning - I do 3 per week.
DB, ask your daughter if she knows the guy who operates the tennis center in Steamboat. That's my first cousin.
Yeah, the town is at 7k altitude and it's another 3k to the top of the ski slopes. We're at 600 ft here in Nashville. I might be able to hike that climb once, then I'd be dealing with the effects of altitude sickness, unless I waited there several days before attempting the climb.

Here in SoFla, we set a record. Yesterday was the hottest "April 6th" since 1988, 93 degrees. Today was in the sixties and low seventies, brggh.

David- I just did my mile on friday, I wish I could say I did three a week.
