First, I have no interest or involvement in the following--the owner doesn't even know I'm posting this--in fact I barely know him.
Some members here know I'm happily located in a condo on the Mystic River with a boat slip outside (although my C-25 couldn't get to it). There's currently a similar 2-BR townhouse, only with a better view than mine (but no basement), on the market for a price that you'll never see again for waterfront living in CT. You can see Sarge in her slip in some of the listing pictures. There are many marinas a few minutes away, as you can see below--Passage lived in one of them.
Sorry if this is inappropriate or annoying--I just thought somebody might be excited by this rare opportunity. The owner is anxious--moving to the Caribbean--and the river is frozen over at the moment, so it doesn't look quite like this...
Looking south at Mystic, Mason's Island, Fishers Island, and The Race... The condos are just off the bottom of the picture, north of the 25' fixed I-95 bridge.
Association Port Captain, Mystic, CT Past member and DPO of C-25 #5032 Now on Eastern 27 Sarge (but still sailing) and posting as "Stinkpotter". Passage, Mystic, and Sarge--click to enlarge.

I took that photo from a friend's Piper Cherokee--also the aerial view of the condos in the listing. I gave that to each unit owner to use if they went on the market.
Dave as much as that looks like a fabulous place to sail and unbelievable price, I will stick to CA for the weather! Steve A PS the pic below is how my area looks 95% of the time and 950% higher home costs to match.

We'd have to triple the price! Anyway, I kinda like watching a snowstorm from my chair by the fireplace... or a rainy day on the river from my helm... the Spring colors, the Fall colors... and it all makes nice summer days that much more fun! Just like the thrill you feel when the earth shakes or the fires close in!
