1966 Alberg Designed Ericson 35 ft Sloop w/ Osco diesel

Classic plastic - full keel! I bought this boat from the original owner about 6 months ago with the intention of restoring her. Well, I'm not up to it; business is eating up my spare time like never before. Great lines, clean and very original, sails great. Needs everything or needs very little-- depending on what you want.

Price is firm (and represents a huge loss to me). As-is where is. Bottom was just diver cleaned and inspected, in good condition. You're welcome to explore, run the engine etc but no sea trials/ surveys or the like... She is what she is...

From the listing on Yachtworld: <blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"><b>Motivated seller bought this last summer but.....wife wants a powerboat!</b><hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">

Why "run away"? She looks great in the Yachtworld listing, although some shots are with finished brightwork and some with weathered gray... (?) That could be a lot of boat for 10Gs!

I think a lot of people sailing boats on CraigsList are weary of people who ask sellers to arrange a "test drive" when in actuality they are only mildly interested, but a nice day cruise for feinging interest suits their needs. If the buyers were really interested I bet this seller would arrange for the "test drive" as opposed to losing the sale. Probably just cleaning out the low hanging fruit.
