i would like to install marine head ,were is located on cataline 250 the holding tank for the head and is there a plan somewere how to install thank«'s for your help
I'm pretty sure the holding tank for a C-250 is installed in the hanging closet area aft of the head. However, you'll find that lots of us (our boat included) use Porti-pottis instead of marine heads, and we like them quite a bit. On our boat, we just replaced the original Thetford porti-potti with a Fiamma Bi-pot, which is just an upgraded porti-potti. I contemplated installing a marine head, but it seemed like a lot of work for little return that I already had with the Bi-pot.
Do you have a wing keel or water ballast model?
Some of the folks who have marine heads in their C-250's will chime in soon, so you'll have your answer.
I've never sailed on Lake Champlain, but I've been out on it on my uncle's fishing boat, beautiful place.
David a have a wk, Porti-pottis on lake champlain is not tolarate to evoid people empty there «porti-pottis on lake that's exacteky why i would like to install a marine head
The standard installation place for the holding tank is aft of the sleeping berth bulkhead to the port of the battery. Arlyn Stewart located his aft of the "wet locker" to the port of the sleeping berth. Arlyn's web site describes his installation. We use a 5 gallon porta-potti that is plumbed for pumpout. It is a nice alternative between a basic porta-potti and a full marine head system. Here is a link to our project:
The holding tank is located on the port side next to the battery. The hose runs through the head wet locker back to the tank and the clean out is on the port side rail.

I am replacing my Thetford and read your posting about the Fiamma Bi-Pot. Can you please tell me the advantages of the Bi-Pot over the Thetford and which Fiamma Bi-Pot will work on the Catalina 250?
