I am in the process of retrieving a very neglected Capri 25 and was just wondering if anyone would be interested in any specific parts from her. I know she's a complete boat, but don't know if I am going to be able to get her back up to snuff.

The boat will be located in Nebraska.

Hey Nebraska, if this boat is still in NC then I would be interested in having a look... By chance, is this boat located on Lake Norman (Charlotte)?

No it's actually in Texas right now. The boat doesn't have a trailer, but my boat is in the water right now freeing up my trailer for transportation.

I'm on the fence for what I want to do with it, but thought I would part it out if there was enough interest. Here are some pictures:

Mike, that looks way better than part-out condition, but expense to refit would be highly dependent on the condition of the bottom and interior. A good scrubbing would do wonders for that puppy.

Mike,

I'd be interested in the interior and exterior companion way teak trim. I don't need the crib boards.

What is the hull number?
How much do you want for the entire boat as is?
Have you seen the condition of the hull below the waterline? Blistered bad?

I'm not sure of the hull number yet. I would be interested in selling the entire boat, the only problem is that it will not come with a trailer. (I need my trailer for my other Capri) I'd probably be up for a delivery or any creative transportation methods.

I'm unsure of the condition of the hull, that's why I was looking at parting the boat out. When I know more, I will share more details.

Mike:

What part of NE will the boat end up in?

I might be interested in the spars and pulpits.

Sorry everyone,

I am going to get the boat 4-5 June. I will know more details and condition then. The boat will be in Lincoln (southeast of the state).

Mike,

We have a cradle for sale here in Kansas City that will sit on a flatbed and fit a Capri 25. One of our club members brought a Capri 25 back from Ohio on this cradle and a flatbed. If anyone is interested I can send a photo.

I just picked it up this weekend; I will post some pictures when I get it cleaned up a little bit. Seems to be in terrific condition. The interior is in better shape than my hull #443.

sounds neat. I'd be interested in the companion way boards and the boarding ladder (plus backing plate -- or pic of)

After some thought and a through cleaning and organizing, this is a great complete boat that I hope I can find a new home for. It had been used as a family cruiser so the interior has always been kept in great shape. Electric, all works. It's got pretty stock hardware, which may or may not be appealing.

It has a cruising main and a few headsails but no spinnaker. (spin pole included) The only thing that needs to be done is replace the running rigging. The headsail foil is cracked so that needs to be dumped or replaced.

I'm going to put it out as a local listing, but I'd love to see it go somewhere there is a fleet.
