I have the traditional dinette model and have seen pictures of other like models that have the drawers (1 and 2) under the galley sink and stove. Mine has the cabinet type doors. It seems that the storage would be more organized with the drawers. Where can I get these drawers to replace my cabinet doors. I don't think CD has them. Thanks, Bruce BellaSera '83 tr/fk
I have an '84 with drawers (didn't know there was another option). Let m eassure that the drawers aren't very good at staying organized. I need to build dividers/holders for stuff for mine.
When folks are parting out boats, you may be able to pick up a set, but I would check to be sure there is no difference in the Fiberglass pan they are set into first.
I have an 89 w/drawers and totally agree they need help as well. Maybe the cabinet is even better. I think with proper non-spill shelves you just might have more room that's more easily categorized and accessed.
Bruce, I may be half a step ahead of you on this one.
CD doesn't carry them.
Catalina Yachts doesn't stock them (when they did they were made by a third party.)
There are 4 drawers on ebay from a C30, three alike, one not. The dimensions are listed on the auction and I'm going to measure mine this weekend. If they are the correct size maybe we could make an arrangement.
I may have another source - I'm checking into this also over the weekend.
The standard layout on my Eastern had two cabinet doors under the galley sink... I had one replaced by three drawers--a vast improvement IMHO. The bottom one had to be smaller front-to-back due to the hull, and my car vacuum tucks in nicely under it. I suspect they were made by a third-party--there are several on the Web.
The C30 drawers on ebay are not the correct size. I was hoping the drawer fronts would be a match so I/we could build new boxes - but even that won't work.
Moving on to plan D - and if that doesn't work maybe if we pool enough orders together we can receive a little better price from the original manufacturer.
You might might want to share your drawer dimensions in the unlikely event there is some variation between years.

I have another source if this vendor doesn't work out.
Tried to send you an e-mail via this forum and it came back . . .

Apparently they are a really busy group of guys - getting new storm-damaged boats in regularly. He has three drawers set aside for us and will forward payment info as soon as he finds time.
Gary sent pix of the drawer he is offering me. No surpise that the draw front needs to be refinished and the plywood bottom is delaminating - all similar to the one I have.
Anyway, with the cost of teak today plus the unique drawer pull design - the drawer front alone is worth $40.
They have a PayPal account in the company name - so your purchase is protected.
OJ, I spoke with Gary Yesterday and he was to send me some pictures also. Haven't got them yet. I hope to see them by the weekend and get the one drawer set he has left. If I don't get the pictures from him, could you send me what he sent to you? Thanks Bruce Brtejones@comcast.net

The picture he sent was of the particular drawer he was going to send to me. It's the correct drawer front and he said the dimensions matched what I gave him. I had to be a squeaky wheel . . . he's a good guy. Let me know how you make out - be patient. Regards, Steve
My drawers are sticky. Not crazy about them. They need real knobs. The recessed knobs are difficult to grip. I might drill all the way through and get my saber saw and hole out the handel. I couldn't get one open for weeks and it had my winch handels in it.

I tend to agree - if you could find the right size, you could place this over the exisitng recessed handle.
