Hey I tried emailing CD both from their "contact us" form on their website and directly from my email to sales1@catalinadirect.com. Both bounced back. I hate calling. Can anyone provide a good email for them?

Why do you hate calling? You want to discuss a "custom kit"... I'd call their 800 sales number (and mention the e-mail problem). They're very easy to talk to.
Dave is right... Lowell and the whole CD staff are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. You can try to work your magic over the internet, but it is often much easier and saves a lot of time if you call CD on the phone. They're good folks and value their customer. Save yourself some time and give them a call!
sometimes Lowell is busy and tough to reach...but is worth the wait to have access to his knowledge, he's made several useful suggestions over the years for me...
So, I called and they had actually gotten my email. Wierd. Anyway, looks like it's pretty much just going to be the list price for everything (though I did realize the kit only saves you about $20 anyway because it does not include the backstay). Shipping's pretty cheap though, I must say. So, I'll be putting together an order soon. Going to give my aft lower shrouds a close inspection. If they seem fine, I will not replace them yet. Save me 143 bucks and not really a safety issue. Definitely am replacing the stays and upper shrouds.
FYI, I will be taking the mast down and keeping it down while sending them my backstay, which they need for measurement purposes. Any threads discussing taking the mast down with tips and tricks?
Yes... Many do a quick search. And there are youtube videos.
I have done it on the hard and in the water, with a forklift and with brawn and brains. Bringing it down is a non-issue putting it back up is slightly more difficult. After you've poked around a little post your q's in a new thread and we'll all jump in. There is a cultish ritual to this, and everyone ritual varies slightly. Its a regular conversation.
I think I embedded a few other links within this blog that refer you to Tech Tips here on the CCOA.
Some folks use a gin pole, some use the boom, some use a fork lift, I used the A-Frame. As always, your mileage may vary. Offer void where prohibited by law. Member FDIC.
