Does anyone have the instructions for installing the Catalina Direct internal outhaul? I just got my outhaul in the mail but they sent the external instructions by accident. So I called, they didn't have'em on hand, told me to call tech support (no 800 number), told me to make sure I talked to them today because they'll be out of town for 3 weeks after today. GEEZ! And I'll do that, but if somebody has them handy it'd be cool! Thanks

If you peruse the Harken website they have drawings of internal outhaul systems - maybe that will help.

Hi OJ,
Yeah, thanks. I went and checked that and it will do if I can't get the real deal here or from CD.

Lowell at CD support emailed me the C25 internal outhaul installation instructions, wooo hooo! So at lunch today I went to the boat and took the old sail off the boom and the boom off the boat so tomorrow I'll start with the outhaul and hopefully I'll be flying my new loose foot this week-end!!

Got the thing installed today, wasn't as much of a project as I thought it'd be. The worst part was cutting the line exit hole on the bottom of the boom, 2"x5/16" cut, beveled to accommodate, but I managed to cut it straight. So now I just have to reattach the boom, put the sail on and I'll be ready for a test sail! And now all my sails are less than 3 years old, That's a good feeling

Got out Saturday afternoon for a short sail and the sail preformed great, the outhaul worked well and my wing keel pointed decidedly better. And I was sailing with main only! The only change I'll make is with the jam cleat. I'll put a thick plate under it to take it off the boom more because the bimini is close and in the way.
