Look at the bottom of the keel closely (repairs), click on the link in Randy's post and look at the pics (boat name), then pull up Dave's photos. It's the same boat.
Yup--that's the boat. My pix were taken by me, and I got the hull# (with year) off the hull. I saw her later after the "repairs" and fresh paint. I'm also suspicious it's a tall rig... Whoever picks that one up could be locked in as the perennial C-250 National Champion!
BTW, the Yachtworld photo gallery also shows the catbird seats.
This example of a fin 250 (likely a tall rig) is the only one I've heard of but the fin option was on sales brochures for a while later in 1996 but didn't stay on the offering list long and IIRC was removed before the tall rig was.
