I am having the bottom of my 250WB painted and in the process having the entire boat cleaned and buffed. I am going to apply wax to the deck and sides. My question, what is the best wax to use? Thanks.

There are many good products but I have found Collinite's liquid cleaner and their separate paste wax to be the best. Others will have different opinions but I promise you that if you use Collinite, you won't be disappointed.

We usually polish the sides of our boat every other year when we pull out (w/ Starbrite). How do you wax the deck since its nonskid?

I just became a member of a local sailing club. It will be about 2 years before I get a slip. Until then, I must park the boat in an area with many pine trees. The needles accumulate and stain the finish. Everyone there tells me to clean the boat throughl

Last year I used Dolphinite on my Cat 250K. It worked very well. It cleans and polishes with a single application. More sailing, less cleaning/polishing. It lasted all season. We are at a mooring and get coal dust from a nearby power plant. I only h

When the queen of clean forces me to defer sailing for waxing (which isn't allowed to happen often), we use Meguiars products. I think what I have now is the Boat/RV polish. It's done a fine job on the sides and even removes those occaisional scuff mark
