This is fantastic - it will be a great help.
On my computer, the search seems to be missing a few items. For the following parameters, it tells me I have 49 items listed, however only 21 are presented. I expect there to be a <next page> hotlink or something.

PARAMETERS
C25
1900 - 2000
Any keel type

Also, I have Passage Hull 5032 listed twice. I think I posted twice so I got both posts. Any way to delete the earlier one?

Bruce, did you see the << and the >> buttons that appear when your search exceeds more results than fit on one page?

Yes, I'll work on the feature to enable edits and removals/archives.

This is great! Went right to my boat!

While your working on the edits/adds would it be possible to add another search criteria for state? Would it makes sense?

Nice work Paul! I had no idea there were so few C-250 WK's on the board, and that mine was the oldest (listed anyway).

What other search parameters are in the works?

Ok folks, I have just added the option to search by State!

And I made the boat model icons larger.

So funny. I searched for a 79 FK in TX and got mine and my slip neighbor's boat who is a forum member here. Literally, our boats are right next to each other. My starboard neighbor is Bryan with "Serenity Now" , another forum member.

In fact, we have four C-25's in a row. :)

#1130 - Wench Wagon, 1979 Tall, Fixed Keel
Darren Durrett, Dallas TX United States
#1390 - Stephanos, 1979 Tall, Fixed Keel
Peter Powers, Rockwall TX United States

I'm pretty sure I have my hull number wrong though. I thought we were 60 hulls away, both are tall rigs. I'll check Wednesday.

I tried the link in the above posting but when I put in 1988-1990 wing keel Cat 25, it indicates 6 hits but my 1989 wing keel (5820) is not among them.

Larry -- I looked through the whole list and didn't see you listed.

Paul -- I noticed if you use the filter "Any Model", when it pulls up the list you can't tell what model you're looking at. Below is a sample.

Not trying to be critical, just trying to help work out the bugs!

Total matches: 73, Starting at 0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#0 - Odyssey, 1989 Standard, Wing Keel
Dan Greer, Peoria AZ United States

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#0 - Echo Bay, 1980 Standard, Swing Keel
Graeme Bishop, Lake Macquarie NS Australia

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#4 - Sea Minor, 1985 Standard, Centerboard
David and Stephen Lezak, Portland OR United States

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#55 - Shebi, 1977 Standard, Fixed Keel
Bruce , Woodland Hills ca United States

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#59 - My Time, 1977 Standard, Swing Keel
Devin & Toni Oltmanns, Beaverton OR United States

Nice and potentially useful feature, but my search for C-25 any keel type in MIchigan resulted in only 2 boats. I know of at least 4 other member boats in the Michigan area including myself who were not listed, and I'm sure there are many others.

Steve, I have added a direct link to the data entry form on the search results page.

Gary, when you see the list of results, do you not see the images to the left of each record?
The images are the C25, C250, and Capri25 logos.

So far (1st week of data entry) we have 73 records, not doing to badly. If you know someone that is not listed, give them a nudge!

Gary,

My listing is there. It has been there for years. Here's a cut and paste from the owner's List Catalina 25:

#5820 - Robin's Nest, 1989 Tall rig, wing keel

Larry, is that the manual list or did you find it by using the search option?

If it's not in the new system, could you please add it.

Larry,

I believe you might be referring to the old listing under the Owners tab above and to the left. I see your information there.

You have to manually enter your information in this new database to be able to pull it up using the search function in the link above.

Latest Update: You can now sort the results, and if you change any of the criteria, you can restart the search.

Don't know about you guys, but I find the info fascinating!

We're missing a lot of boats right now!

Is your boat listed? click here to find out

I would appreciate any suggestions for additional search options.

So far we have had 83 records added, however, some of those are duplicates, I'm working on that.

Paul,
I added mine yesterday, but did not see it today, so I listed it again. Please check to see that I don't appear in the listing twice.
Thanks.

I guess I missed the part that we had to add data in again. I added it yesterday and I see that it now is in the new searchable list !

Another update: you can now search by name of owner (last name), and the sort options have grown.

Just added option to search and sort by Boat name (with wild cards)
FYI, I keep a record of each search in anticipation of showing the frequency and types of searches.

Still working on the Login feature.

How about a counter/display that totals up the number of boats in the database by year model? ie: '79's, 80's, etc...

Not sure that can be done but it would be interesting to me.
