Paul, similar to searching by year, can you make it searchable by hull number? ie. Hull # 4000 - 4100 would bring up boats built about the same time as mine.

Ok, Ok, OK! I'm getting carried away here (too much fun!)

Now added Rig Type to the search feature.

Paul can you point me back to where I go to get Iris on the list. Maybe I'm blind and deaf, but I'm just not seing it. If you can post a link, I'll add it to my signature as a reminder to our occasional visitors. I think this effort is very worthwhile.

Paul, Can I request or suggest the forward button and back buttons be at the bottom and not on the top. Its a little confusing in that I didnt realize they were even there plus location. Thanks,
Steve A

Paul, I need to change the location on my owners info, is there a way to do that without re-listing?

Steve, I'll move the previous / next page links to the bottom of the page.

Chris, If you do a search there is a link to add your's.
But here's the link
http://www.catalina-capri-25s.org/owner_questionnaire.htm

Steve, I'm working on the edit option.

A few comments on the registration form...

First make it a boat registry, not an owner registry. Looks too much like you are registering me as a member of the association, and not recording the particulars of my boat.

Also, the comment on the email check - I suggest you clarify that you are verifying the email address, and not just the account. It looks like you are verifying the account with the membership. Little things, but they could have an impacy.

Thanks for the feedback Chris.

I agree, the 'registration' form has only been changed cosmetically over the past few years. Time to update it.

You are correct, it is the email that we are verifying (part of the anti spam process)

However, there are a few greater things in the works, so the process will morph to the 'owners' registration. It's conceivable that someone might have more than one catalina/capri.

We will be verifying the account with the membership roster, but simply to determine if the account is for a member or a 'guest' (ie non-member)

But I won't spill the beans yet.

Still not had a definitive year that the C25 was born. I could guess at 1976, but perhaps someone knows better.

Spelling check:

"Ascending"

"Descending"

Also, instead of "how many years you've owned the boat," how about "year acquired" or "year bought" or the like? That way, the information would stay current.

and your spelling is better than my solution 'Up' & 'Down'

Ok, last update for the weekend.

I have edited the original owners page so that it clearly indicates the new system access and the old system access.

Hopefully we'll be on the water all weekend (and the water will be kind, ditto the wind )
