A local news/weather show is saying that we may have a white Christmas, first time in 17 years. The storm bringing it is still 1500 miles to the west, but headed our way. The temp has already dropped several degrees.
Our daughter is going to Grand Rapids to spend the holiday with her husband's family. Glad it's not me making that trip. I think it is the first time the admiral and I will be by ourselves on Christmas Day.

It might be more "White" than you bargained for. This is the same storm that is recking havoc to So California. Its suppose to impact the mid Atlantic states hard then come up the coast toward us. Hopefully it will be far enough offshore so we don't get the full impact. Well the good thing is that snow melts, Mud doesn't.

I just hope it stays south. My daughter is currently fighting weather in London. Should make it home, through Chicago, on Sunday. We expected her 2 days ago.

Our hearts go out to the folks on the west coast dealing with flooding and mud slides, and the people stranded in airports trying to get home. By no means was I making light of those unfortunate events and the havoc they are causing.
True, whatever snow we do get will probably not hang around very long.
