This definitely falls under the category of newbie questions, but i need to know! What does the bilge pump handle look like? I have pretty well gone through everything that i got with the boat and i have 1 handle looking thing with a pivot at the end, but can't see any way to make it fit the pump, and it doesn't really look like it matches anything on the boat. Picture?

Yours might be a little different, but that's the general principle. Most of the manual pumps on boats our size have the handle fit in one of two ways; the handle is either inserted in a hole on the pump or the handle is inserted over a large "pin" on the pump.
My boat came with the handle missing, and therefore also came with a full bilge. Wish I had known that before trailering it home across 5 states full of water.
In place of purchasing a $30 replacement handle, I bought a wooden dowel at Ace for a few bucks, cut it into approx. 8" lenghths, and now have multiple bilge pump handles. I think the dowel was 3/8th inch, but I can check later today.
As noted, you need to check the pump on the cockpit side to see if your handle fits into a recess or slides over a pin to determine what you need. Mine is an aluminum tube that slides over a pin, probably 3/8" diameter. Let us know which style - I can measure mine tomorrow if you need a hollow one. You really won't need to spend $30 for a substitute for either style. You might also post a pic of the handle you do have so we can try to identify it.
