Well - I started with the simple winter project of fixing the reefing line in the boom and now I'm wanting to run some lines aft. Done quite a bit of research but couldn't find - I need to run three lines down starboard, but can anyone recommend a deck organizer that is small enough to fit inboard of the genoa track? I have a double cheek block there now and catalina direct sells a double and a single. I'm thinking of putting one on top of the other for a triple-stacked cheek block that would use same holes that are there now. Some pics or advice would be appreciated. I can easily put mast base blocks where I want on the mast plate, but turning toward the rope clutch has some challenges. As always, thanks VERY much.
Michael, I've got a triple sheave organizer on my starboard side. One of the PO's installed it, and it was too close to the track. You couldn't get hardware on or off the track, so I filled the original holes with epoxy, and redrilled to move it out about a quarter of an inch. I thought I had some pictures of the process on my phone, but I could only find pictures of the inside when I was filling the original holes. I'm pretty sure it's a Garhauer organizer, but I couldn't find an exact match on their site. My point is, you can fit a triple in there without stacking. I have a double stack on the port side, and don't like it, but not enough to drill more holes for a different one. I seem to kick that one a lot.
I installed these 4-way deck organizers on the port and starboard sides of my C250. http://www.catalinadirect.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_ID=1074&ParentCat=231 Catalina Direct had them to me in less than a week. I did have to drill new holes as I put them over where the standard single blocks were. I had hoped to only drill one hole on each side, but by moving them outboard about 1/2 inch, it is easier to snap on the "camper" canvas over the hatch. Also, you will need to buy 2 longer bolts for each of the organizers than the ones that come with them. I was able to use the hardware (nuts with screw type heads and washers) inside the cabin from the original equipment blocks. The 4-way oorganizers are 2 level and narrower than 3-way. Hope this helps.

I see where you bought a NEW catalina c250 - can you tell me if your genoa tracks extend beyond the cabin pop top by a few inches and that your original cheek blocks were mounted between the tracks and the cabin hatch just aft of the boom?
If you are asking if the original cheek blocks are mounted between the tracks and cabin hatch just aft of the MAST, the answer is yes to both of those questions. The 4-way organizers and spacing between the bolts are only a little wider than the original cheek blocks. My original plan was to use one of the holes from the cheek blocks to mount the deck organizer. Doing that would have made it difficult to access one of the snaps on the edge of the hatch for the camper top. So, I decided to drill 2 new holes, moving the deck organizer out less than an inch from the original inside hole. I filled the original holes and mounted the deck organizer right over them, so they can not be seen from above. I used fender washers inside which covers up most of the filled holes, so you really have to look to see them inside the cabin.
I then installed a 3-way clutch on each side that match the original 1-way clutches . The starboard 3-way clutch lays right up next to the 1-way clutch that came with the boat and the jib sheet runs fair past the starboard clutches to the winch. On the port side, I moved the 3-way clutch forward a little, so the jib sheet line runs fair between the clutches to the winch. The difference was necessary because the jib sheets go clockwise around each winch.
I now have the following control lines run to the cockkpit:
Starboard side from outside to inside: main halyard, reef 1 tack, reef 1 clew, outhaul.
Port side from outside to inside: topping lift (halyard style), reef 2 tack, reef 2 clew, jib halyard.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was hoping to hear!
GREAT WORK! But I do think my tracks extend up further, thus I'm thinking I'll have to use a three-stack cheek block or drill and fill. . . Thank you - this is helpful.
