So while I had the mast down today I installed a mast-head crane and a spinnaker halyard. After I raised the mast, I'm not sure I like what I see:
My camera is zoomed in all the way. I have the halyard tied off on the port shroud but it still looks like the new halyard will be rubbing on the CDI furler, does this look normal?

It seems to me I remember some talk about the mast head crane being too short to properly put the spin halyard there. You might want to do a search on the forum for better info. I intend to build a crane that holds the spin halyard further away from the front of the mast. I intend to get a lot done in my life but I'm seriously falling short lately.

Because it would rub like mad when it's under load?

Do I send mine back to CD when it comes?<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"> So far, I've tied off the halyard like Don L. Tomorrow will be the first day out with it.
