A storm blew out our sailing plans with our daughter and son-in-law today so we drove up to their place for Easter lunch. We were welcomed with the news that we're going to be grandparents in the very near future, est. late Nov. or early Dec. WOW, I wasn't expecting that! Of course, Grandma-to-be is on cloud nine.

As a recent new grand-dad, I can attest that <i>nothing</i> is better! You're going to have all of the benefits and none of the responsibilities (like you already had to get to this point)!

Lots of fun grans time to look forward to. Mine have unfortunately gotten a taste of stinkpottering and now want to go fast, but I'll get them back to sailing. They do like climbing around a C25....

Now, if I could just get my 27 and 28 year old married off I might have a shot. My parents probably said that too since I didn't get married until 35.
