Frank,

I have seen several references to a thing called "my new boat". So, what kind of boat do you now have? Is it another Catalina, another catamaran, or another boat altogether?

Excuse me if you've posted this info already.

Thanks, Dave. I missed that back last year.

We will undoubtedly be treated to news of the upgrades eventually, I suppose!

Happy sailing, Frank!

I have done the usual things, new running and standing rigging, added some deck hardware, done some rebedding and installed some backing plates on the transom. I have created a new mainsheet horse to provide some semblance of a traveler. I have gotten most of the ablative off and will put VC 17 on soon. This boat has not needed any effort on the interior other than a new stereo and potti, it has carpeted walls so it will never look as fresh as a Catalina interior. The "gallery" of photos is here but I have not up loaded any detail of what I have done yet, it is mostly documentation of the boat as I found here.

Thank you for asking and I will update the gallery soon. I will share what seems applicable but do not intend to pretend like my Starwind is a relevant topic on this Catalina site.

I will put a topping lift on so I probably will toss the Kicker.

Looks like you upgraded to a two axle trailer, What does it weigh?

The first photo in my gallery is of a boat that belonged to a friend, mine has always had the dual axle Rollco. It seems lighter than the ones under the Catalinas I have owned but not by much, I suspect the axles are rated lower because the rims are smaller.
