You guys in the DFW area please be careful. A large tornado is on the ground in the DFW Metroplex area moving east. Looks like it's headed towards Lake Ray Hubbard where PCP777 and his buddies keep their boats.

Check out this live video feed from some storm chasers -->> http://www.severestudios.com/livechase

Just looked at the radar--UGLY! It looks like the town of Flat Prairie (how's that for an suggestive name) is in the middle of it now.

Thed local news said there's a large wedge tornado on the ground SE of dowtown Dallas in the area around Gastonia.

Looks like Ray Hubbard is about to get hit with heavy thunderstorms again.

Thanks guys, my home is fine, will be checking on the boat today after work. Scary night, the sirens went off no less than 7 times, had the family taking shelter in the laundry room.

Thanks Dave, one of my friends who drive by the lake last night said the lightening was incredible, I might need to check things out at lunch.

I'm gonna head out at lunch and check things out.....but I think we're okay out at Harbor One.....my brother owns a house on the hillside overlooking the marina, and he would have called me if there was a problem. At least, I hope he would have called me!

I was watching a couple of storm chasers stream live video last night as this was going on and there were power flashes every few seconds. Some of them were huge and lasted a couple of seconds or slightly longer.

My wifes sister lives in Denton and they had a funnel cloud pass DIRECTLY over their house shortly before it supposedly touched down in Flower Mound.

Just got back from the marina...all is well and even my usual leaks didn't leak....so I think we fared well. The marina must have not taken a direct hit from anything, or maybe the wind/rain was in the best direction for the boat to take it.

Seems there were less spider webs out....
