I'm posting this message in the General Forum to invite first-time racers to join the 2011 Nationals in Minnesota this year. Our club and program are very friendly to racing newcomers. We have many experts and helpers who can get you started. We have a boat ramp and crane on the premises, and we'll do everything possible to ensure that you have a great time!

If you're even remotely interested in participating, please contact me.

------------------------------------

I am excited to announce that the 2011 Nationals will be hosted by Wayzata Yacht Club in Wayzata Minnesota September 9-11 2011.

We're eagerly recruiting Capri 25's, Catalina 25's, and Catalina 250's to participate. We have a crane to get you in and out of the lake. There is a housing coordinator who will make sure you find a place to bunk. We will also have boats for charter.

Whether you're a seasoned racer or new to racing altogether, you should trailer-up and head to Wayzata for an awesome three day weekend in September.

There will be 30+ boats on the starting line. Don't miss out on this outstanding event!

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you're considering taking part in this regatta.

Thanks,
OT

Man that looks like fun, but I have no trailer or truck robust enough to pull her.

I am genuinely impressed. I tried for two years to get a reply from the WYC Capri 25 fleet and got nowhere. This will be a very special Nationals, everyone should make every effort to attend. WYC will put on a terrific championship.

Job well done to who ever made this happen.
