Leaving my dock and maneuvering through the trees down the canal to get to Albemarle Sound.

Albemarle Sound,NC

I spent most of my money on boats and beer, the rest I just wasted.

How in the heck did the boat get back there in the first place? I thought the bridge at the end of my canal was a pain...

I thought I would add a photo of Hake Yachts solution for shallow water and rudders:

I don't know if something like that could be made to work on a C25, but it might be possible.

It got back here because I live up the canal.

You would not believe the number of trees I took down and branches I broke off in order to get in and out.

It is not to bad now but I still have a number of branches to take down.

Don't you just love those swing/wing keels. I love my wing. I guess your dock is considered a honey hole!

Sweet... I love skinny water, and I miss it bad. Part of the fun.

What are your tides there?

My dock is at the "Bulkhead" in my back yard.

<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">

There is no noticeable astronomical tide because the water height is affected mostly by the wind. When the wind is from southeast the water comes into the sound. A Northwest wind blows the water out of the sound toward the ocean.

Have you seen Humphrey Bogart? I believe he pulls his boat up and down that canal.

I do believe I saw him but I was drinking a lot that day so I'm not sure. I'll keep an eye out for him.
