I've got the kit on my boat....makes a BIG difference lifting the top up, but it's a bit harder to bring it down.
However....the shock on the starboard side broke, so I only have one shock right now. They attach with a ball and socket type mount, and the socket side, on the shock, is plastic. On the shock that broke, the plastic tabs inside the socket broke...all of them, just blew to pieces. Gave me the impression it was pretty cheap. But, I bet replacing that one shock isnt! (cheap)
