Merry Christmas and best wishes for a Happy New Year to all!
May 2012 bring you fair winds and friendly seas, and rain, not floods, to those of you in the mid-west dealing with drought conditions.

Speaking of floods, please keep the folks in the Phillipines in your prayers this holiday season.

Howard, Picasa certainly doesn't make it easy. I think this is what you wanted:

Howard--for another thread, and more practice with pictures, now we need to see what you have rigged for your mainsheet. Is that a fixed block on each side of the companionway, leading to mid-boom sheeting?

I'm hoping for a better 2012 sailing season than we got in 2011!

Yes it is.
I suspect it was done to allow the bimini to be placed over the aft portion of the cockpit. Aft stay goes through the bimini.

I should have read this yesterday. Took a grandson sailing for the first time and I could have taken a photo to send you. Will do next time. Send me your e-mail and I will send you the photo.

I'll probably go out and check on the boat this afternoon, but no sailing. We've got the new granddaughter (and her parents, of course)here with us this weekend, 4 weeks old yesterday! We're planning on a New Year's Day sail instead, if the weather holds. Right now it's sunny with temp in the low 50's.

Jean André--I was outnumbered 3-1 (two daughters)--no matter what, this will be the biggest and most amazing change in your lives, with no near comparison! It changes your entire perspective... Enjoy!!

Hi Dave,
The Admiral and I are so happy! Thank you for the incentive!
I am trying not to become the annoying guy who is having a kid, but I find it is very difficult to not do it.
Cheers
