Jean, CONGRATULATIONS! As I'm sure you'll hear over and over again, and will probably (like me) fail to appreciate until you have kids, they change everything. I adore my boys and wouldn't change anything (except maybe having more money and more free time!) but your life is about to change, in a good way. When my wife was pregnant with our first, we didn't find out his gender until the day he was born, and people invariably asked "what do you want?" My answer was always "happy and healthy" (to me, the gender didn't matter), and that's my wish for you - a very happy, and very healthy, new baby girl when her time comes! When is your wife due?
We are expecting our girl to be here on May 12th. We are getting the nursery ready and baby proofing the boat as much as possible...
A few years ago I met a couple from Argentina, and they were sailing from Buenos Aires to the BVI with their baby, when I saw the little guy naked on the Midship berth laughing as he rolled from side to side with the heeling of the boat, I instantly knew I want to get a similar "baby rocker"...
