I'd like to find an oldschool "dial" type dual meter for my electrical panel. I'd like it to be a small panel with two mechanical meters, including a 12VDC voltmeter (the kind that ranges between 10V and 15V, not 0-15V) and a +/-20A ammeter to show real time loads and charging current. I have a single 2.5" ammeter similar to what I'm talking about that my late father-in-law had in his garage, but I can't find a matching 12V voltmeter anywhere.

I've seen a number of digital combination voltage and amp display, but in keeping with the 80s style of my boat, I'd love to find something more in keeping with 30-year-old technology.

Does anybody have anything like that hanging around in their garage or basement, or recently cleaned out a passed family member's garage and found anything like what I'm talking about?

My ammeter is about 2.5"-3" in diameter, has a metal body with a glass window, and inside is a red pointer on a black face with white numbers. Being an ammeter, it is a center 0 with +50A on the right side and -50A on the left. Ideally I'd like one that read +/-20, as this is more in keeping with the actual currents on the boat.

I think it would be a cool device.

A junkyard with some very old cars or a JC Whitney catalogue (similar things). You might try classic car restoration sources.

Let me check my toolbox when I get home. Either I have one, or I just threw it out, if not, maybe this is along the lines of what you want???
