Probably too late to the game, but next time try PB Blaster instead of WD-40. Let it soak for at least a day after a liberal application. It can work wonders.
I bought PB blaster last Friday, soaked it then and over the weekend, squirted more today and finally gave up this afternoon. Also bought a propane torch today and tried heating a few times, couldn't get it to budge. Looks like a few more days of yard bill and hopefully I can get back in the water Friday. I'm compounding, polishing and waxing the sides, wish that Makita wasn't so heavy!
I'm thinking I'm too old for this, then the 40' next to me is owned by a 77 year old and his wife, they're doing a bottom job this week, only hope I'm that healthy 12 years from now.
