I know Catalina only made the Capri 25 for a short run (400+?), and for only a couple years (1980-1983) and special ordered until 1994?

But um, their site is decidedly mum about the Capri 25. I also noted that the Capri 30 is absent as well.

Was the Capri manufactured in a different plant than the rest of the Catalina products? It would seem to me it was a fairly successful production run.

I guess what I am asking is, what happened? I could see where they could have drastically improved the boats, taken the Capri 22 route, with fixed plexi windows, remove the teak, streamline them for easier production. Anyone know?
