Wow...that is one gorgeous sailing vessel....owning her would be a full time job though. This one is for the real passionate sailor with a love affair of his vessel. One that knows every inch, every joint, every sound...and can tell when something's wrong just by the way she feels or sounds, or moves through the water. The amount of work and upkeep to keep her clean and pristine....but just think, having such a vessel....learning and using the old ways of marlinspike seamanship, celestial navigation, going old school. What a wonderful retirement lifestyle she could be on a deep bay, one of the Great Lakes, or local lake......

What would work better on my dock is a gaff-rigged (short mast) centerboard (shallow draft) catboat, but I only have one slip. But who knows..........
As for pretty--there are beautiful Herreshoff, S&S, Fife, Potter, and other designs all over my neighborhood. Fortunately I don't have to maintain any of them, but I get to drive one of them, a 1917 Herreshoff launch, and sail on a 1954 Herreshoff ketch.
