Just bought a Capri 25 (Hull #65) which needs a new forestay and halyards. Is there a single rigging option for this boat, or does it come with a choice of standard vs. tall. If there's a choice, how do I determine which one this boat has?
The mast is down right now, and is about 3 feet longer than the LOA.
I think the standard or tall configuration only applied to the older Catalina 25's. There is a Capri 25 brochure elsewhere on this site and I've never seen any reference anywhere to two mast heights. 3 feet over the LOA sounds about right, when my mast is down it overhangs the stern pulpit and bow pulpit comfortably.
The Capri 25 is a true OD, with variations allowed within the association rules (but not to rigging/sailplan)... therefore only one configuration. Think J/24.
