The trailer brake actuator failed to engage - the rear brakes on the pick-up locked and we came darn close to jack-knifing. You are begging for trouble towing a C25 without trailer brakes. Your insurance may not cover you. You could be fined. An observant and responsible lift operator wouldn't even load it.
Good luck with your search. Something will surface somewhere.

I was really trying to keep the budget reasonable.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
Lol....I bought the one in Bristol a few weeks ago!
I was looking at that one but it was a bit outside my budget range. I never went to look at it but I did speak with Barry and Jason and it sounded like they took excellent care of the boat. I was also turned off of the notion of having to get it off their property with no trailer. Did you end up getting a trailer?
No, I don't have a trailer and for now I'm not planning on it. We can only tow about 3k. I'm going to keep it a Barry's house for the remainder of the winter, work on it there, pay for a launch in Bristol in the spring and sail it to Cranston where I will moor it. The haul out to my house is only about $300 and the stands come with the boat, so it's not that critical I have a trailer and since I can't tow it myself, a trailer would just be an unnecessary expense.
