Chuck, confetti looks great!!! Keep up the good work. ftworthsailor, I posted an ad for 3" Harken single blocks in the Swap Meet in case you need them. I've also got a spare forestay in excellent condition from a tall rig if you need one. Could be shortened for a standard rig.

I used "PolyGlow" on it. You need to clean the hull really well, and remove all marks etc. Then prep the surface with "PolyPrep", and follow that with about 7 coats of PolyGlow. Sounds like a lot, but you apply it with a sponge (its like water). You do not buff it and you do not spread it out with a brush. You recoat in about 10-15 minutes. I did all 7 coats non-stop as fast as I could sponge it on walking around the boat moving my short step ladder. You are supposed to re-coat it about every six months with one coat, but most folks go about a year and do two coats from the dingy. I am way overdue for my recoats!!!
Thanks Chuck, I will check into the Polyglow stuff.
Right now I am on the lookout for the clevis pins (I think thats what they are called) for the fore and aft stays. My forestay has a broken roller furler. The plates that the line spools up with is all cracked and broken. I presume that I can replace these, once I figure out who makes them. But for now, I need to figure out if the shroud clevis pins are the same size as the ones used on the fore and aft stays. Anyone know?
I used Poly Glow as well--excellent for aging gelcoat. (I wouldn't use it on a newer boat.) Like Chuck, I wiped on coats as fast as I could go, around and around... The first one virtually disappears, the second shows lots of streaks, the third is less streaky, and the fourth starts looking even. I probably stopped at five or six within about two hours, and put on one each spring (two in areas worn by fenders or whatever). Some friends found that after something like eight years, the old coats were starting to yellow, so they "Poly Prepped" the whole thing off and started over. (Not much else will take it off.)
I can buy Poly Glow (kits or components) at my nearby Defender and at most of the boat shows I've been to. WM doesn't seem to be on board.
Fore and aft stays should use the same size clevis pins. I believe that all of the shroud and stay turnbuckles used 5/16" clevis pins to connect the turnbuckles to the deck plates/bolts.
