When I bought my boat, the aluminum plate with the serial number mounted on stern was missing.
Now I'm going to rebuild it and found some pictures on Google, but some plates has the WOODLAND HILLS, CALIFORNIA factory and others had NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA.
Does anyone knows where the C25 was build during '78?
Question two, what is the dimension of this plate? I assume something like 80mm wide.
Thanks

Nice work! I would certainly be interested in the graphics file!!
Around the time I bought Confetti in 1976 I visited the factory in Woodland hills.

Hehe, this is exactly the same result as my attempts of Sodium hydroxide etching. I spend almost whole weekend trying various steps of getting laser printer toner to aluminum plate but the final etching its not as sharp I would like to.
I will try to ask the local company to do it professionally.
I expect that your #701 hull was built at Woodland Hills, CA, as was the '84 boat I used to own. I believe that some C-25's were built at the Ft. Walton Beach facility prior to Butler's purchase of Morgan Yachts in Largo, FL. in 1984. Shortly after that, production ceased at Ft. Walton.

I don't know when they started or quit building them there. Catalina hadn't bought Morgan yet.
