Visiting Ireland and spending the first couple of days in Howth (NE of Dublin) It's roughly 32 degree F, wind chill around 20-25, snowing on and off, and there are roughly 12 prams in the harbor sailing. Looked like the local Yacht Club was conducting sailing lessons, the only shame was here was no pub were I could sit and watch them.

My family is Irish, traced back to the signature on the ship manifest. Moved to Ohio, then down here in Texas. I've always wanted to take a trip to Ireland. I'm extremely jealous! :( Post pictures if you can!

And people wonder why they drink Guinness...

I'm Irish and American Indian... I don't know if I can hold my liquor or not.

Up here, winter Sunday morning "frostbiting" races in Dyer Dhows are common. I know folks who do it, but I'm not one of them. That Laser might be a little wetter than the Optis.

I spent a day at the The Hague and the coast nearby. The North Sea was very imtimidating, raw. I was thinking it would take a special breed to sail there. Defintiely understand the development of heavy duty clothing after that experience.
