What should one expect of the C250WK when having to anchor in not-so-calm conditions? Once, in my previous boat (Catalina 27), the wind came up during the night while at single anchor. I was awake all night constantly checking my position. In between checks it was a wild ride. However, the boat moved not an inch. I am aware that the 250's increased freeboard affects other performance characteristics. What about the anchoring in conditions as mentioned above? My boat is currently equipped with a Fortress anchor sporting 15 feet of chain. Would a second anchoring system be called for on occasions similar to those mentioned above, or is the C250 likely to imitate her older sister?
In a big blow, she will sail on the rode beam to the wind...placing great strain on ground tackle. I found this out last summer... almost to the result of putting mine on the rocks.

We've ridden out a couple pretty good overnight storms w/ our danforth in the Chesapeake. We try to be aware of the weather & pick an appropriate anchorage and we stay on board for at least 1/2 hour to confirm we're not dragging. We do carry a heavier 2nd anchor , but haven't needed it yet. We do set the anchor alarm on our GPS & I do check it a couple times during the night when the wind is up.
The C250 does ride at anchor and we've frequently spent an entire night moving back and forth in a semi-cirlce around our anchor. Our biggest complaint is that we don't feel comfortable in crowded anchorages or rafting up with other boats because we don't sit at anchor like the others.
