I visited the factory (and my boat) yesterday, and was quite impressed with both the facility and the people. You can see a slideshow at <http://community.webshots.com/user/ajmaniccia>.

Thanks for the tour Al.... Know you enjoyed seeing the boat in the process. Hope that seeing the boat a mess didn't distress ya...

Thanks for the tour. Mark Melchior is the only other person that I can remember who shared an electronic tour for those of us who can't visit the factory, but would like to.

Al:

Congratulations on your new boat!

Just watch out for the shoaling...http://www.thelog.com/news/newsview.asp?c=11016

You might want to consider attending the Catalina Rendezvouz next summer at Two Harbors (I think July 11-13). It's really a great event.

Al,
the photos are great, I liked the photo of the wing keels, I will not worry about mine so much now if it just happens to touch somthing (like the trailor). I am out in CA about once each year, I think I will now make an effort to get by there to see for myself.

Catalina also has their factory tour on CD ROM. If interested, you can probably get a copy by asking the factory or your local dealer. The Catalina dealer in San Diego was handing out copies at the San Diego boat show last month.
