Followup to my 9/20 post Does anyone have any experience with Dwyer Mast Co. of No. Branford, CT? I would consider a new mast from this company if I received good feedback from the forum. Thanks
I know it's not a ringing endorsement but, I've actually heard of them at least and I'm in the Midwest. I'm sorry but, I just don't recall the context.
You might give Catalina a call and ask what there source for spars is.

In addition to my C25, I have a 16 ft AMF Sunbird daysailer on a trailer to take on camping trips and to freshwater lakes in CT. My mast is in good shape, however I belong to the AMFSunbird Yahoo group that includes folks from all around North America who own these boats. Whenever questions arise about new replacement spars, Dwyer mast is always named. A few who've purchased them have mentioned that once they refit them with the existing mast hardware, they sailed just fine. Funny thing - nobody has ever raved about how good they are - but you probably wouldn't expect that. The really good news is that nobody has mentioned that they were NOT good. Sometimes no news is good news.
