I just brought my 1995 9.9hp Yamaha outboard in for repair and I'm not sure it's going to make it. What would be a good one to replace it with? Size and length?
I have a 1995 water ballast with a motor mount that has electric tilt.

I replaced my 1995 with a Tohatsu 9.8 extra long shaft. this is the 2nd season with it. I am amazed with the difference in fuel savings. They also make it with a electric tilt.
