We're quickly coming up on the delivery day for our new 250 WB and we've decided on a name, but I don't see a very good spot to put a name on the stern. Where has everyone else put their boat names?

My next question is where to go for the graphics/let

congratulations on your new boat. We have a 250wb, we put the name on both sides of the boat about 2 feet forward of the stern. We found that the stripes on the side of the boat were taped on, so we cut and removed a section of the stripes on

I got my decals made by Advanced Signs and Graphics ... they did a great job, they are reasonably priced, and they are quick. Here is their e-mail address: advsign@selectrec.net

I'll go along with John.
My sister-n-law has a small computer graphics company. She made the name for my old C-22 "Desiderata". I've been procrastinating with the 250. I'm also going to add some graphics to the bow, like some dolphins jumping or sea hors

I agree 100% with John. I bought my decals from American Sign here in San Antonio (I believe it's a franchise). The decal is 5' wide with 10" letters and two of them cost me $23.00 - total, not each!

Wow! Thanks for all the replies. I like Bill's idea of cutting a space into the striping for a name.

Ben, what part of FL are you from? We'll be sailing out of St Marys, GA. If you're close by, I'd love to be able to pick you brain once we're ready

We put our name just below the striping and it worked very well. Personally, I'd hate to mess up the nice striping on a new boat (it'll probably get scuffed at some point in the first year or two so enjoy it while it is pristine!)

I prefer painting the name on the throwable horseshoe. The current one has been in service since '92 and it's still readable. Not grandiose but it simplifies problems inherent in sailing allowing more time for SAILING. It also makes it eas
