Removed the ball from my keel winch wire today. It was not a problem to remove the pin. Just used a pin punch and a small hammer to knock it out. Plus some Inox sprayed on it. It took all of ten minutes to remove.( I wonder why they are made of soft brass and not stainless steel. They are also a bit big for the hole and they then jamb up)..... oh well.! Now just waiting for the new kit to arrive from C Direct. Drove two hours to get my windows anodised . only to be told they have to be cleaned to a polished condition before they can dip them. I guess they are after all in the anodising game and not the renovating one like I am.
