Our 78 C25 had bow lights mounted in the bow. When we purchased our 86 a couple weeks ago it didn't have a battery so checking lights wasn't done when we inspected the boat. Today I hooked up a battery and was verifying all the lights worked and to my surprise I discovered it didn't have lights in the bow but a single light on the bow pulpit instead. Where the red & green bow lights optional?

They moved them to the bow pulpit sometime around '83. That is also when fin keels changed from iron to lead, fuel got it's own lazarette that doesn't vent into the boat, and other minor changes were made to the boat.
