I was surprised to see an ad for a presidential candidate asking to "click to endorse". This is such a uniquely non political forum that the ad seems out of place. What control do we have over the boarder/margin ads?

I'm seeing two boxes--it appears Amazon controls what's in one, and Google the other. They're both watching you... Maybe it's a Snitz thing.

I got Banana Boat Sunscreen from Amazon, and some kind of fishing lure from Google..................

Maybe quit going to those hack political sites before you log in....

Just install AdBlock, and you don't see anything. It's wonderful.

Yeah, I logged onto the home page and didn't see any ads, and then realized that AdBlock blocked them.

Adblock just listed 3 blocked, and Ghostery blocked two trackers - Google and Amazon

Hah! Reminds me of my "GF", who always mutes TV commercials because she "hates them", but then has to watch them carefully so she can un-mute for the show she's watching. I can't convince her to just "tune them out"...

Some on TV are pretty funny (maybe for the first 5-6 times)--for example, I loved VW's two-for-one "we're taking the deal." (Seems VW commercials disappeared recently... )
