Anybody out there in Catalina land using a Garhaur lifting Davit? Or maybe have seen one?

they cost about 220 bucks

I was considering getting one to help me mount my Honda motor. I like to take it off when I trailer my boat, and as we all know, those hondas are heavy. What makes them harder to lift is their rounded shape, which looks cool, but have no handholds like the old time square outboards.

Hi Frank,

Concern for, even pictures of the lift were a post two maybe three weeks ago. I'm thinking that may have been the time you were shaking down your boat in the keys. So a look through past posts may answer your question.

And the 89 tall wing is a solid boat. Now what we need to do is start our own "national" race, somewhere halfway between California and Tennessee, right? <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> We have to do this sometime between the end of June and the middle of August when we are "unemployed" teachers (for the summer). The national race this year is too far away and happens on the last days of the school year so we could never get back there in time.

Late summertime is really busy in anesthesia business so I can't go either. The slack time is January and February so that's why I can get time off to go sailing in the Keys. I'm already planning for multiple weeks next February
