On another sailing forum someone said "It was reported later that the boats operator was in the head at the time of the collision." At that speed, it was just dumb luck that it was a glancing blow, instead of squarely on.

Not only is he stupid that he didn't reduce speed or even stop to take care of business, That horn that close would have launched me off the throne really fast!
